Mercedes-Benz car manufacture unveiled a new series of the S 250 CDI BlueEfficiency with four-cylinder engine in its line-up for the first time in its 60-year history. Mercedes-Benz S 250 CDI BlueEfficiency is powered by the company’s tried-and-true direct-injected 2.2 litre four-cylinder diesel engine, developing 150 kW and an impressive 500 Nm of torque at 1600 rpm. It has an official combined cycle fuel economy figure of 41.3 mpg. That means CO2 emissions are 149 g/km, which apparently makes it the first car in its class with emissions of less than 150 g/km.
